Space Arp, a collision of senses is an audiovisual installation that seeks to explore how the senses are bound together in different perceptual experiences. The piece questions how a perceiving body relates to generating sound, versus an observer watching this unfold, taking part in a mutual, yet exclusive experience. The installation is a conceptual piece, that reads movement tough Processing, by calculating the average optical flow, which is translated to music via Ableton. Three LED lights are reading to movement in the same way, visualisation it in form of shadows.
